Jill has over 25 years of experience in executive commercial human resources roles in financial services and the property sector, covering the breadth of all people functions and leadership of large cross functional teams. Jill leads the People function at GPT, overseeing the Group’s people and workplace experiences including responsibility for leadership, development, culture, talent and reward.

Prior to GPT, Jill was the Chief People and Culture Officer at OFX, and has also held senior human resources roles at the Commonwealth Bank and a 17 year career at Morgan Stanley where she held global and regional roles based in Asia, North America, Europe as well as Australia. Jill holds a Masters and Bachelor of Commerce, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Russell has over 30 years' of global leadership experience with a breadth of knowledge from commercial property markets, infrastructure and private equity. Russell has held several leadership positions with market leading funds management platforms, and brings experience in investment management as well as extensive merger and acquisition, capital markets, corporate transaction and financing capabilities across global markets.

As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director, Russell has responsibility for the overall management of GPT, including the development and implementation of GPT’s strategic objectives.

Most recently, Russell was the Chief Financial Officer of Charter Hall Group. Prior to this he was with Brookfield Asset Management as a Managing Partner based in Canada and, more recently, Australia, where he worked in the property and infrastructure sectors throughout the Asian region. Russell also spent 15 years in investment banking and the financial services sector in North America.

Russell holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a Chartered Business Valuator. Russell is a Director of the Property Council of Australia and a member of the Property Champions of Change.

Merran has more than 20 years’ experience in real estate, finance and investment banking and has held various real estate and corporate advisory roles. As Chief Financial Officer, Merran has responsibility for capital management, corporate affairs and investor relations, financial planning and analysis, finance, technology and cyber security, tax and procurement.

She was previously Head of Investment Management and Chief Financial Officer at Investa and prior to this, Chief Financial Officer at AMP Capital Real Estate. Merran has held roles at UBS in investment banking, and at KPMG in transaction services. Merran holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Chris Davis

Chris has over 20 years’ experience in commercial property spanning senior leadership roles across investment management, development, asset management and leasing in the office and logistics sectors, and has been deeply involved in logistics acquisitions and developments for nearly ten years. As Head of Logistics, Chris oversees transactional, leasing, development, investment and asset management for the portfolio, including the GPT QuadReal Logistics Trust.

Most recently, Chris was Head of Investment across GPT’s office and logistics balance sheet portfolio. Prior to this, Chris held several roles at Mirvac where he worked across the commercial and industrial sectors. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Property Economics.

Chris Barnett

Chris brings more than 30 years of real estate and asset management experience, and has spent the majority of his career within the retail property sector across various leadership roles in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. He is responsible for GPT’s retail asset and investment management, as well as the retail and mixed-use development functions. He also provides oversight of the GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund.

Previously, Chris held several senior positions at Scentre Group and Westfield and most recently held the position of General Manager, Development and Strategic Asset Management across their New South Wales and South Australian portfolio. He has extensive experience in asset management, leasing, marketing, investment management, and delivery of large-scale development projects. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business.

Marissa Bendyk

Marissa has over 15 years’ experience in the legal profession, with extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and competition law, and corporate governance. In her role as General Counsel and Company Secretary for the Group, Marissa has overall responsibility for the legal, governance and compliance functions, and for providing guidance to the business units undertaking transactional, development, investor relations, corporate reporting, asset management and investment management activities.

Previously, Marissa was the General Counsel, Corporate & Governance and Group Company Secretary of AMP Limited, and has also held senior positions with APA Group and King & Wood Mallesons. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce.
